WI#14 - STS

Well, I stayed the same this week at my official WW weigh-in. I saw a smaller number earlier in the week but have been bouncing between 237-329 for the past 5 days. I was definately on plan all week and got lots of activity in, so I have a couple of theories.

1. My body is adjusting from last weeks 3.8lb loss
2. I did not eat enough to fuel my body for the added exercise
3. I am retaining water (my body is so out of synch that I never know when my TOM is coming)

I am not going to let this one WI get me discouraged, but I am going to try something new this week. I am going to use 20 extra points today (from the flex points that I never usually touch) and see if that helps give me a kick start. Other than that I will keep doing what I have been doing and hope for a great loss next week.

You've been doing great! Sometimes the scale just doesn't budge, eh? I agree with all your possible reasons, too. I had a pretty slow moving scale this week, too.

Hi there! It looks like we have a lot in common (general size, amount lost, WW, beginning jogging, high APs) from reading a few of your posts.

Cheers to you for not letting the STS get you off track. Sometimes STS is a victory in itself. You should check out some of my recent posts. I really committed to serious exercise about 5 weeks ago. The scale didn't budge for me for 3 weeks I think even though I was OP and working out alot.

One thing I'm doing differently now is eating at least most of my APs. I only use my Flex if I really need them, so I think I wasn't eating enough on a daily basis for the amount I was doing. I also got really serious about my water drinking again. And I had read it may take women 3-4 weeks to adjust to an increase in physical activity because it's just the way we're designed. I'm not sure what made the difference, but I lost 4 pounds last week - finally.

I feel the most important thing is that if you know you're doing the right things, just keep pushing ahead and have faith in the system. That stupid scale will catch up with you in time.
